Are IRA's FDIC insured?
Yes. IRA’s are insured up to $250,000.00 per owner, per FDIC insured bank. If you hold one or more IRA’s in one bank then all IRA’s are added together and insured up to the $250,000.00. Can I contribute to one or more IRA types such as, Traditional or Roth?
An individual can establish or contribute to more than one type of IRA, but the annual contribution cannot exceed the maximum allowable contribution or 100 percent of compensation.

What is an IRA Transfer?
A transfer occurs when the IRA funds are transferred from one institution to another institution. There is no IRS reporting, due to the fact the customer does not have control over the IRA funds.

What is an IRA Rollover?
A rollover occurs when IRA funds are directly paid to the customer. The customer has 60 days following the date funds are received to roll the IRA funds into same type of IRA. Rollover transactions are reportable to the IRS.

What is the deadline for IRA contributions?
Contributions made to an IRA for any tax year must be made by the due date (excluding extensions), which usually is April 15th. If April 15th falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline will change to the next business day.

How do I enroll for On-line Banking if I’m a business customer?
Log into www.fsbbank.net which will lead you to the enrollment page, click begin. Type the business Tax ID# into the User ID box, along with Random Code, click next. The next screen Online Banking Enrollment you will enter the business name (first, middle, last name) address, phone number, e-mail address and birth date of signatory on account. You will also be asked to create a new User ID, password and create three (3) security question and answers, along with a security key. Once enrollment has been finalized, you should be able to log right into your site. If you have any problems, please don’t hesitate to call (812) 283-0724 and ask for On-line Banking.

Why can’t I log into my On-line Banking site?
There could be several reasons such as: (1) User ID or Random code entered incorrectly (2) Authentication question not answered correctly (3) Password was entered incorrectly. Please verify your information and try again. Once you have tried four times, you will be locked out of the system. Please don’t hesitate to call (812) 283-0724 and ask for On-line Banking.

Why can’t I see all my accounts online?
If you are not an owner, co-owner, guardian, administrator, or signatory on one of the accounts you will not see accounts online. To have access to On-line Banking, you must be added to the account.

Can I make a loan payment or transfer between two or more accounts?
Yes. Login to your online banking site, click Accounts (red bar), and click on transfer, (opens Transfer Funds screen). Choose an account number from both the account from and to drop down box, enter transfer amount and submit. Once you have submitted, you will be asked to confirm the transfer. Confirmation is necessary for transfer to process.

How do I close my previous checking account to SWITCH BANKS?

How can I set up direct deposit to my account?
To set up direct deposit (ACH) through your employer, provide them with the bank's routing number, bank name, and your account number. If it is a direct deposit from Social Security, pleae contact Social security at 1-800-772-1213.

Can I reorder checks online?
First Savings Bank has partnered with Deluxe to safely and conveniently provide online reordering. There is a Personal and a Business Check Reordering icon at the bottom of the online pages. To reorder checks you will need your routing/transit number, account number, and the starting number of your next check. Any deposit made over the counter or using the ATM will be reflected on your balance that day. If funds are delayed for any reason, you will be notified at the time of deposit.
