Who can have an IRA?

Any individual who is living, has earned income, and files a tax return is eligible for an  IRA. This also includes any individual who is married to someone with earned income and files a joint tax return with his/her spouse.

Are there limits to how much I can contribute to my IRA?

Yes. The IRS issues contribution limits for each year. Contributions can be deductible or nondeductible depending on plan type. Our bankers have access to the most current information regarding IRA’s and can inform you of the current contribution limits.
